Thomas J. Webster’s (H index: 133) degrees are in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh (B.S., 1995; USA) and in biomedical engineering from RPI (Ph.D., 2000; USA). He has formed over a dozen companies who have numerous FDA approved medical products currently improving human health in over 30,000 patients. His technology is also being used in commercial products to improve sustainability and renewable energy. He is currently helping those companies and serves as a professor at Brown University, Saveetha University, HebeiUniversity of Technology, UFPI, and others. Dr. Webster has numerous awards including: 2020, World Top 2% Scientist by Citations (PLOS); 2020, SCOPUS Highly Cited Research (Top 1% Materials Science and Mixed Fields); 2021, Clarivate Top 0.1% Most Influential Researchers (Pharmacology and Toxicology); 2022, Best Materials Science Scientist by Citations (Research.com); and is a fellow of over 8 societies.Prof. Webster is a former President of the U.S. Society for Biomaterials and has over 1,350 publications to his credit with over 55,000 citations. He was recently nominated for the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Prof. Webster also recently formed a fund to support Nigerian student research opportunities in the U.S.

Dr. Maria Gazouli is a Biologist and Professor at the Medical School of NKUA. She earned her first PhD from the Department of Biology at NKUA in collaboration with the Hellenic Pasteur Institute, and her second PhD from the Department of Microbiology, Medical School, NKUA. She completed postdoctoral training in Cell Biology and Pharmacology at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC.Her research focuses on the molecular/genetic basis of autoimmune/inflammatory diseases and cancer, molecular detection of pathogens, and disease pathogenesis. She also works on nanotechnology applications in cancer detection, imaging, and targeted drug delivery. Dr. Gazouli received a Fulbright Scholarship for nanotechnology-based biosensor arrays for colorectal cancer cell detection at the University of Maryland, College Park, and further training at Northeastern University in Boston on targeted drug delivery using nanotechnology. She has authored over 400 international publications with more than 17,800 citations (h-index: 66, Google Scholar), holds one international and three European patents, and has given over 60 invited lectures worldwide. She has mentored numerous young scientists, serves as editor and peer reviewer for several scientific journals, and is an evaluator for national and international research funding bodies. Dr. Gazouli coordinates EU- and nationally-funded research programs and led the European Joint Action on Rare Cancers with over 20 research groups across Europe. She teaches Biology, Genetics, and Nanomedicine at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at NKUA and other universities in Greece and abroad. She has also contributed to Greek textbooks in these fields. She has served as a Board Member of the National Organization for Medicines (EOF, 2019–2023), National Representative to the EMA’s Committee for Advanced Therapies (CAT, 2021–2023), and is currently a member of the Governing Committee of the Central Health Council (KESY, 2023–present).

Dr. Osman Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University in 1980. He became professor in 1996, and retired in November 2019, due to the age limit of 67, following academic life of 45 years. He published over 80 papers in international and national journals; He joined over 120 conferences and symposia in international and national level as Plenary Speaker, Keynote Speaker, Invited speaker, speaker or Poster presenter. He served the program chair or conference chair/co-chair in some of these activities. In particular, he joined in last six years (2014 - 2019) over 60 conferences as Speaker, Keynote Speaker and Conference Co-Chair organized by different companies in different countries. Additionally, he retired at the end of November 2019 and contributed with Keynote/Plenary Speeches over 280 Virtual/Webinar Conferences, in the coronavirus outbreak and retirement life in six years of his retirement, 2020 and 2025. Dr. Adiguzel served his directorate of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Firat University in 1999-2004. He supervised 5 PhD- theses and 3 M. Sc theses. He is also technical committee member of many conferences. He received a certificate which is being awarded to him and his experimental group in recognition of significant contribution of 2 patterns to the Powder Diffraction File – Release 2000. The ICDD (International Centre for Diffraction Data) also appreciates cooperation of his group and interest in Powder Diffraction File.

Paulo C. DE MORAIS (H-62), PhD, was full Professor of Physics at the University of Brasilia (UnB) – Brazil up to 2013, Appointed as UnB’s Emeritus Professor (2014), Appointed as Guest Professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology – China (2011), Visiting Professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) – China (2012-2015), Appointed as Distinguished Professor at Anhui University (AHU) – China (2016-2019), Appointed as Full Professor at Catholic University of Brasília (UCB) – Brazil (2018), Appointed as CNPq-1A Research Fellowship since 2010. 2007 Master Research Prize from UnB, 2008-member of the European ERA NET Nanoscience Committee, Member of the IEEE-Magnetic Society Technical Committee, Senior Member of the IEEE Society, 2012 China’s 1000 Foreign Expert Recipient, and 2012 Academic Excellence Award from Brazilian Professor’s Union. He held two-years (1987-1988) post- doc position with Bell Communications Research – New Jersey, USA and received his Doctoral degree in Solid State Physics (1986) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais – Brazil. He graduated in both Chemistry (1976) and Physics (1977) at UnB. Professor Morais is member of the Brazilian Physical Society and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers – IEEE. He has served as referee for more than 50 technical journals, takes part of the Editorial Board of more than 15 technical journals and has conducted research on nanomaterials for over 40 years. He is known for his research in preparation, characterization and applications of nanosized materials (magnetic fluid, magnetoliposome, magnetic nanoemulsion, magnetic nanocapsule, magnetic nanofilm, magnetic nanocomposite, nanosized semiconductors, polymeric dots, carbon dots, and graphene quantum dots). With more than 500 published papers in peer reviewed journals, more than 14,500 citations, about 300 international invited talks (35 countries), and 16 filed patents. He has appeared in recent World ranking of top scientists, such as 2020-Stanford, 2022-Research.com, 2023-AD Scientific Index, 2023-Research.com, 2024-Elsevier, ONE Research Community, 2025-AD Scientific Index, 2025-Research.com, and 2025-Stanford-Elsevier.

Michele is founder and president of ElectroFab Sales, a sales agency specializing in helping manufacturers select the right processes for their products. She is on the Advisory Board of American R&D Institute, the San Diego chapter of SME & the North County Hispanic Chamber. She earned a B. A. from San Diego State University and is a 1994 graduate of San Diego’s leadership program (LEAD San Diego). She earned a certificate in Total Quality Management in 1993 and a Yellow Belt in Lean Six Sigma in 2014. She has also served as a Managing Member of two new business incubators for start-up companies while running ElectroFab. The National Business Incubation Association published Michele’s first book, For Profit Business Incubators in 1998.

Dr. Sergey Suchkov was born in Astrakhan, Russia, into a family of medical doctors. He earned his MD from Astrakhan State Medical University in 1980 and his PhD from Sechenov University in 1985. He received advanced training at the NIH (Bethesda, USA), Wills Eye Hospital (Philadelphia, USA), and several British universities under the Royal Society for Immunology. Dr. Suchkov has held numerous academic and leadership roles, including Director of the Division for Clinical Immunology & Immunobiotechnology at MONIKI, and Professor and Chair of the Department for Personalized & Precision Medicine at Sechenov University. He has also served as Vice-Director of the Institute for Biotech & Global Health at RosBioTech National University. Currently, Dr. Suchkov is Professor of Medicine & Immunology and Director of the Center for Biodesign at the N.D. Zelinskii Institute of Organic Chemistry, Russian Academy of Sciences. He also serves as R&D Director at InMedStar (Russia–UAE) and Senior Scientific Advisor to the China Hong Kong Innovation International Business Association. He is an active member of several international scientific organizations, including the New York Academy of Sciences, EPMA, ISPM, PMC, AMEE, ACS, AHA, ARVO, and ISER, and is Secretary General of the United Cultural Convention (UCC), Cambridge, UK.

Dr. José Miguel García-Martín is a research scientist in the Spanish National Research Council, CSIC, and he works at the Institute of Micro and Nanotechnology (Madrid). He is also a co-founder of Nanostine, a spin-off company that fabricates nanoparticles and nanostructured coatings by sputtering. He obtained his PhD in Physics at Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 1999. He then spent about three years at the Solid-State Physics Lab at Paris-Saclay University (France) on an individual Marie Curie postdoctoral fellowship. He joined CSIC in 2003. In 2017 he was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Northeastern University (Boston). Currently, he studies metal and metal-oxide nanostructures with applications in information and communications technology, energy, and biomedicine. He has coordinated several international projects with partners in the U.S.A., France, Greece, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, and Colombia. He led the Nanoimplant project, which in 2014 won the IDEA2Madrid Award, a partnership between the Madrid Government and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2023 he received the Award of The Royal Spanish Society of Physics (RSEF) and the BBVA Foundation for the best dissemination article. He has co-authored 110 articles, 7 book chapters and 3 patents, and has given about 50 Invited talks. He is the Past Chair of the Spain chapter of IEEE Magnetics Society, he is a member of the Administrative Committee of that Society and is its representative on the IEEE Nanotechnology Council. Dr. Hugo Pérez serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at DENSsolutions. He has prior experience as CTO, Product Architect, Product Manager and Microsystems Engineer. In April of 2021, Dr. Pérez Garza was included by the magazine "Expansion" as one of the top 30 businessmen of 2021. And in June 2022, he was awarded by the World Business Magazine as the "Most Innovative CEO in the Nanotechnology industry", competing against the CEOs of some of the biggest Nanotech companies worldwide. His core expertise is on MEMS development for various applications, ranging from Life Sciences to Chemistry and Semiconductors. He holds a PhD degree in Nanoengineering, MSc in Molecular Bioengineering, MSc in Nanotechnology and an MBA. During his career, Dr. Pérez has been recognized in multiple international conferences with the best scientific paper/presentation award: 2012 (China), 2014 (The Netherlands), 2016 (Japan), 2019 (Argentina) and 2022 (Spain). In recent years, together with his team, he brought the Microscopy Today Innovation Award from the Microscopy Society of America for the development of an in-situ system for Liquid Phase Electron Microscopy (2020) and for Gas Phase Electron Microscopy (2021).

Professor Youssef Mir received his Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sherbrooke, Canada, and his PhD from the Faculty of Medicine at the same university. He subsequently completed several postdoctoral fellowships in France and the United States. He is currently a Professor and Head of the Department of Preclinical Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Agadir. He has over 20 years of experience in teaching and research, with a focus on nanobiotechnology, photomedicine, and drug delivery systems.

Associate Professor III at the University of Brasilia, assigned to the Faculty of Ceilândia (FCE) and accredited as an advisor in the Graduate Program in Nanoscience and Nanobiotechnology and in the Graduate Program in Health Sciences and Technologies at the University of Brasilia. He holds a degree in Biological Sciences (Bachelor's Degree) from the University of Brasília; master's degree in Animal Biology from the University of Brasília with study of the mechanism of action of protease inhibitors in breast cancer; PhD in Animal Biology from the University of Brasília with emphasis on nanotechnology. He completed a PDEE doctoral internship (sandwich) at Northeastern University (USA) and a postdoctoral fellowship at Embrapa in the area of nanotechnology. She is one of the researchers at the National Institute of Science and Technology (INCT) in Nanobiotechnology. Leader of the CNPq Research Group ''Therapeutic efficacy and toxicity of nanomaterials for health application''. He has experience in the area of Cell Biology, Histology and Nanobiotechnology. He also has experience in the area of biology teaching and in the area of biocompatibility and safety evaluation of bioactive compounds. Currently, he has been developing research projects related to (1) Prospecting and characterization of natural compounds for biomedical applications; (2) Synthesis, characterization and biomedical applications of nanostructured materials, with emphasis on drug delivery; (3) Nanostructuring and biomedical applications of compounds derived from Brazilian biodiversity, with emphasis on natural oils; (4) Toxicity assessment of nanostructured materials. She is the founder and coordinator of the Laboratory of Bioactive Compounds and Nanobiotechnology (LCBNano - https://www.lcbnano.com/). He has published 39 papers in journals, 1 book, 4 book chapters, 6 national and international patent applications, supervised 5 Course Completion Papers, 24 scientific initiation students, 9 Master's dissertations, 2 doctoral theses and has received 18 awards. He is a Productivity Fellow in Technological Development and Innovative Extension DT 2 (CNPq).

Tania Limongi is an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology and Applied Pharmacy at the Department of Drug Science and Technology, University of Turin. I hold a PhD in Microsystems Engineering and a Master’s degree in Biology. My interdisciplinary research lies at the interface of nanomedicine, pharmaceutical technology, biomaterials, and translational medicine, with a particular focus on extracellular vesicles, lipid-based nanocarriers, drug delivery, micro- and nanostructured biomaterials, and tissue engineering. I spent three years working abroad and have developed my scientific career across several university departments, public and private research centres, and hospital settings. My current research focuses on the engineering of cell-derived extracellular vesicles, including osmotic remodeling strategies, for precision nanomedicine and advanced therapeutic applications. I have contributed to European and national research projects, technology-transfer initiatives, academic entrepreneurship, and several patent families in nanomedicine and extracellular-vesicle technologies. I also hold editorial roles in journals covering pharmaceutical sciences, nanobiotechnology, and molecular sciences and have delivered invited lectures on cell-derived nanovectors, nanocarriers, and extracellular-vesicle engineering.

Dr. Prof. habil. Stefano Bellucci obtained in 1982 the Laurea in Physics Degree at Univ. Sapienza Rome (summa cum laude) and in 1986 his Ph.D. in Physics of elementary particles at SISSA, Trieste. He worked as Research Associate at Brandeis Univ., USA (1983-1985); as visiting researcher at M.I.T., Cambridge, USA (1985-1986), at Univ. of Maryland, USA (1986-1987), at Univ. of California at Davis, USA (1987-1988). He was appointed as a Tenured Researcher (Research Staff) at INFN (Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare) Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati (LNF) in 1987. He was appointed as INFN First Researcher (Senior Research Staff) in 2005 (retired in 2024). He coordinated (1999-2002, 2011-2015) all LNF theoretical physics activities. Italy Ministry of University in 2013 (reconfirmed in 2023 until 2034) habilitated him as Full Professor in Theoretical Physics of Fundamental Interactions and in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics. Since 2018 he is contract Professor of Nanotechnology for Electrical Applications at the University of Cassino and Lazio Meridionale. He is responsible for the research and development activities of RAIT88 srl. where he oversees the European Commission project “Developing innovative solution for mitigation of drought effects - DIME” (2024-2027), funded as part of the international Water4All consortium. He is the INFN scientist in charge of the Long-Term Joint European Union - African Union Research and Innovation Partnership on Renewable Energy (LEAP-RE) project “RCLIB - Recycling of the cathodes, based on carbon nanotubes and conducting polymers, from spent rechargeable Li batteries” (2023-2026). He published 1000 articles with 20000 citations with Hirsch index h = 66. He has organized and directed 30 international conferences. He is editor in chief or member of the editorial board of 8 international journals. Appears in the list of Top Italian Scientists, position 52. He appears in the 2% list of the world's top scientists compiled by Stanford University, position 59574. His research interests include theoretical physics, condensed matter, biophysics, physical chemistry, nanoscience and nanotechnology, nanocarbon based composites, toxicology, biomedical applications.

A. Guillermo Bracamonte, PhD, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC), Ciudad Universitaria, Argentina. A. Guillermo Bracamonte is an assistant professor at UNC and researcher at the Commission of Research in Science, Argentina. During his research career, he held postdoctoral positions at Laval University and University of Victoria, Canada. He was a research visitor at the University of Regensburg, Germany and a researcher at the NASA Astrobiology Institute and the University of Akron, USA. Then, he began his research group within nanophotonics, biophotonics and nanomedicine. He is the founder of Biohighlighting Solutions Start-Up Entrepreneurship.

Angyang Yu studied physics at Dalian University of Technology (China) and obtained his B.Sc. in 2003. He received his M.Sc. in 2006 after conducting his master thesis on molecular reaction dynamics in Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. After obtaining his Ph.D. degree at Jilin University in China, he was awarded a Postdoctor's Fellowship to study titanium alloys' oxidation at Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include calculations of molecular spectra, chemical kinetics, molecular excited states, molecular reaction dynamics and engineering alloy design.

María Cecilia Colautti is Doctor of Medicine from the Inter-American Open University (UAI). Specialist in Occupational Medicine from the Medical College of the Province of Buenos Aires. Specialist in Forensic Medicine from the Argentine Catholic University (UCA). Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety. Prevention of Occupational Risks. Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Full Professor in the Master’s Program on Safety and Health at the Faculty of Engineering of the Argentine Army. National Defense University. She is the author of the first book in Spanish language about Fundamentals of Nanotechnology and Nanotoxicity. Currently serve as Secretary of the International Commission on Occupational Health Scientific Committee on Nanomaterials Workers Health.

Gil Gonçalves received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Aveiro in 2012, with a thesis dedicated to nanocomposite materials for biomedical application. After obtaining a Marie Curie research fellowship in 2016, he started working at the Institute of Material Science of Barcelona-High Council of Spanish Research (ICMABCSIC) on the development of ultra-sensitive nanotherapeutic anticancer agents for neutron capture therapy (H2020-MSCA-IF-2015). He was a short-term visitor on various occasions at the Laboratory of Applied Nuclear Energy (LENA, University of Pavia) and Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Trieste. Currently he is working at Centre for Mechanical Technology and Automation (TEMA, University of Aveiro) as a researcher on the development of new graphene-based nanocomposite materials with application on many different fields: Graphene-based porous structures for heterogeneous catalysis (Catalysis) and water purification (Environment), three-dimensional graphene scaffolds for biomedical applications (Biomaterials), nanostructured graphene substrates for selective biomolecules detection (Sensors) and carbon-based nanoplatforms for cancer therapy and bioimaging (Therapeutic agent). Dr. Gil has (co-)authored numerous scientific papers (h-index 21 and > 2500 citations), communications in national and international conferences and he is a regular reviewer for high impact scientific journals in the field of multifunctional carbon nanomaterials.

He holds a PhD in Physics, a degree in Physics Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from the University of Santiago, Chile, with a postdoctoral position funded by ANID and additional postgraduate studies. His research focuses on Condensed Matter Magnetism and Nanotechnology, particularly magnetic systems such as nanowires, nanoparticles, and artificial spins. He has expertise in anodization, electrodeposition, electron beam lithography, atomic force microscopy, electron microscopy, UV lithography, and micromagnetic simulations, among other techniques. He is the author of over 39 scientific publications (h-index: 15, +875 citations). He has actively participated in 16 research projects: 3 as principal investigator, 5 as co-investigator, 4 as supervisor in ANID and SIA Postdoctoral programs, 2 as director of Fondequip projects, and as an associate researcher in a core project at the CEDENNA Nanotechnology Center. He holds four patents (three granted and one pending). In the field of scientific dissemination, he has participated in 22 international and 22 national conferences, including four invited lectures and the organization of four international and national conferences. He is currently Chair of the Chilean Section of the IEEE Magnetics Society and Editorial Director of the science outreach magazine Ingeniería al Día.

Dr. Ellas Spyratou is an Assistant Professor of Medical Physics and Nanomedicine at the Laboratory of Applied Medical Physics, School of Medicine, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), located at Attikon University Hospital. She has authored more than 45 publications in international peer-reviewed scientific journals and has participated as a researcher in more than 11 national and European research projects. Her research interests focus on the development of biophotonic techniques for biomedical applications and nanomedicine, with particular emphasis on laser-based technologies, photonics, nanoparticles, and translational biomedical research.
