Thomas J. Webster’s (H index: 133) degrees are in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh (B.S., 1995; USA) and in biomedical engineering from RPI (Ph.D., 2000; USA). He has formed over a dozen companies who have numerous FDA approved medical products currently improving human health in over 30,000 patients. His technology is also being used in commercial products to improve sustainability and renewable energy. He is currently helping those companies and serves as a professor at Brown University, Saveetha University, HebeiUniversity of Technology, UFPI, and others. Dr. Webster has numerous awards including: 2020, World Top 2% Scientist by Citations (PLOS); 2020, SCOPUS Highly Cited Research (Top 1% Materials Science and Mixed Fields); 2021, Clarivate Top 0.1% Most Influential Researchers (Pharmacology and Toxicology); 2022, Best Materials Science Scientist by Citations (Research.com); and is a fellow of over 8 societies.Prof. Webster is a former President of the U.S. Society for Biomaterials and has over 1,350 publications to his credit with over 55,000 citations. He was recently nominated for the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Prof. Webster also recently formed a fund to support Nigerian student research opportunities in the U.S.

Dr. Maria Gazouli is a Biologist and Professor at the Medical School of NKUA. She earned her first PhD from the Department of Biology at NKUA in collaboration with the Hellenic Pasteur Institute, and her second PhD from the Department of Microbiology, Medical School, NKUA. She completed postdoctoral training in Cell Biology and Pharmacology at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC.Her research focuses on the molecular/genetic basis of autoimmune/inflammatory diseases and cancer, molecular detection of pathogens, and disease pathogenesis. She also works on nanotechnology applications in cancer detection, imaging, and targeted drug delivery. Dr. Gazouli received a Fulbright Scholarship for nanotechnology-based biosensor arrays for colorectal cancer cell detection at the University of Maryland, College Park, and further training at Northeastern University in Boston on targeted drug delivery using nanotechnology. She has authored over 400 international publications with more than 17,800 citations (h-index: 66, Google Scholar), holds one international and three European patents, and has given over 60 invited lectures worldwide. She has mentored numerous young scientists, serves as editor and peer reviewer for several scientific journals, and is an evaluator for national and international research funding bodies. Dr. Gazouli coordinates EU- and nationally-funded research programs and led the European Joint Action on Rare Cancers with over 20 research groups across Europe. She teaches Biology, Genetics, and Nanomedicine at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at NKUA and other universities in Greece and abroad. She has also contributed to Greek textbooks in these fields. She has served as a Board Member of the National Organization for Medicines (EOF, 2019–2023), National Representative to the EMA’s Committee for Advanced Therapies (CAT, 2021–2023), and is currently a member of the Governing Committee of the Central Health Council (KESY, 2023–present).

Dr. Osman Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University in 1980. He became professor in 1996, and retired in November 2019, due to the age limit of 67, following academic life of 45 years. He published over 80 papers in international and national journals; He joined over 120 conferences and symposia in international and national level as Plenary Speaker, Keynote Speaker, Invited speaker, speaker or Poster presenter. He served the program chair or conference chair/co-chair in some of these activities. In particular, he joined in last six years (2014 - 2019) over 60 conferences as Speaker, Keynote Speaker and Conference Co-Chair organized by different companies in different countries. Additionally, he retired at the end of November 2019 and contributed with Keynote/Plenary Speeches over 280 Virtual/Webinar Conferences, in the coronavirus outbreak and retirement life in six years of his retirement, 2020 and 2025. Dr. Adiguzel served his directorate of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Firat University in 1999-2004. He supervised 5 PhD- theses and 3 M. Sc theses. He is also technical committee member of many conferences. He received a certificate which is being awarded to him and his experimental group in recognition of significant contribution of 2 patterns to the Powder Diffraction File – Release 2000. The ICDD (International Centre for Diffraction Data) also appreciates cooperation of his group and interest in Powder Diffraction File.

Paulo C. DE MORAIS (H-62), PhD, was full Professor of Physics at the University of Brasilia (UnB) – Brazil up to 2013, Appointed as UnB’s Emeritus Professor (2014), Appointed as Guest Professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology – China (2011), Visiting Professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) – China (2012-2015), Appointed as Distinguished Professor at Anhui University (AHU) – China (2016-2019), Appointed as Full Professor at Catholic University of Brasília (UCB) – Brazil (2018), Appointed as CNPq-1A Research Fellowship since 2010. 2007 Master Research Prize from UnB, 2008-member of the European ERA NET Nanoscience Committee, Member of the IEEE-Magnetic Society Technical Committee, Senior Member of the IEEE Society, 2012 China’s 1000 Foreign Expert Recipient, and 2012 Academic Excellence Award from Brazilian Professor’s Union. He held two-years (1987-1988) post- doc position with Bell Communications Research – New Jersey, USA and received his Doctoral degree in Solid State Physics (1986) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais – Brazil. He graduated in both Chemistry (1976) and Physics (1977) at UnB. Professor Morais is member of the Brazilian Physical Society and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers – IEEE. He has served as referee for more than 50 technical journals, takes part of the Editorial Board of more than 15 technical journals and has conducted research on nanomaterials for over 40 years. He is known for his research in preparation, characterization and applications of nanosized materials (magnetic fluid, magnetoliposome, magnetic nanoemulsion, magnetic nanocapsule, magnetic nanofilm, magnetic nanocomposite, nanosized semiconductors, polymeric dots, carbon dots, and graphene quantum dots). With more than 500 published papers in peer reviewed journals, more than 14,500 citations, about 300 international invited talks (35 countries), and 16 filed patents. He has appeared in recent World ranking of top scientists, such as 2020-Stanford, 2022-Research.com, 2023-AD Scientific Index, 2023-Research.com, 2024-Elsevier, ONE Research Community, 2025-AD Scientific Index, 2025-Research.com, and 2025-Stanford-Elsevier.

Michele is founder and president of ElectroFab Sales, a sales agency specializing in helping manufacturers select the right processes for their products. She is on the Advisory Board of American R&D Institute, the San Diego chapter of SME & the North County Hispanic Chamber. She earned a B. A. from San Diego State University and is a 1994 graduate of San Diego’s leadership program (LEAD San Diego). She earned a certificate in Total Quality Management in 1993 and a Yellow Belt in Lean Six Sigma in 2014. She has also served as a Managing Member of two new business incubators for start-up companies while running ElectroFab. The National Business Incubation Association published Michele’s first book, For Profit Business Incubators in 1998.

Dr. Hugo Pérez serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at DENSsolutions. He has prior experience as CTO, Product Architect, Product Manager and Microsystems Engineer. In April of 2021, Dr. Pérez Garza was included by the magazine "Expansion" as one of the top 30 businessmen of 2021. And in June 2022, he was awarded by the World Business Magazine as the "Most Innovative CEO in the Nanotechnology industry", competing against the CEOs of some of the biggest Nanotech companies worldwide. His core expertise is on MEMS development for various applications, ranging from Life Sciences to Chemistry and Semiconductors. He holds a PhD degree in Nanoengineering, MSc in Molecular Bioengineering, MSc in Nanotechnology and an MBA. During his career, Dr. Pérez has been recognized in multiple international conferences with the best scientific paper/presentation award: 2012 (China), 2014 (The Netherlands), 2016 (Japan), 2019 (Argentina) and 2022 (Spain). In recent years, together with his team, he brought the Microscopy Today Innovation Award from the Microscopy Society of America for the development of an in-situ system for Liquid Phase Electron Microscopy (2020) and for Gas Phase Electron Microscopy (2021).
