Professor Sabu Thomas is currently the Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala, India. He is also the Director of School of Energy Materialsand the Founder Director and Professor of the International and Interuniversity Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and former Director of School of Chemical Sciences. Prof. Sabu Thomas is one of India’s most renowned scientists known for his contributions in polymer science and nanotechnology. He is an outstanding researcher, administrator and an excellent teacher who has students all over the world. He had his bachelor’s degree from Cochin University of Science and Technology in 1983 and Ph.D in 1987from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India under the guidance of Prof. S K De and Prof. BR Gupta

Dr Nuno Correia is Director of the Composite Materials and Structures Unit at INEGI, the Institute for Science and Innovation in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering in Porto, Portugal. Dr Correia graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Porto in 2000. He obtained a PhD in Engineering Sciences from the University of Nottingham in 2004 and spent seven months at the University of Delaware’s Center for Composite Materials. His doctoral research developed models to describe composite manufacturing via vacuum infusion (liquid composite moulding). Since his PhD, Dr. Correia’s research addressed advanced composite materials and structures through five interconnected workstreams:A. Liquid Composite Moulding (LCM), especially Vacuum Infusion,and process control and automationB. Textile and Thermoplastic Composite FormingC. Sustainability and Building ApplicationsD. Functional Composites and Energy StorageE. Structural Deployable Systems. In addition to his role at INEGI, Dr Correia initiated and has served on the board of directors of INEGI Alentejo since 2018, a research and technology organisation co-founded by INEGI and the University of Évora in southern Portugal. He is also on the board of directors of the Aeronautics, Space and Defence Cluster in Portugal. From 2011 to 2016, he was a board member of XAeroSystems S.A., a spin-off from INEGI based on research in autonomous vehicles. Since 2010, he has been involved with the European Defence Agency and was Industry Rapporteur for the Materials and Structures CapTech from 2018 to 2024, contributing to the strategic research agenda for materials and structures and to large-scale research programmes (> 80 M€). In 2024, he was appointed to the technical committee of the Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking. Dr Correia also evaluates technical and scientific projects and serves on master’s and doctoral juries. He was on the editorial board of Polymers and the Environment until 2020 and reviews articles for journals in the field of composite materials. He lives in Aveiro, Portugal, with his wife and three children

I am Ramin Yousefi, a Professor of solid-state physics at Islamic Azad University, Iran, with over 25 years of academic experience. In addition, I am Senior Consultant & Chair, Scientific Committee of BMF Science Group, Germany (A remote work). I was born on 1972. I obtained my Ph.D. from the University of Malaya, Malaysia (2007–2011), and my research focuses on Nanotechnology, particularly in semiconductor nanocomposites for photocatalytic applications in water treatment and water splitting. Additionally, I explore the use of nanostructures for gas sensors and other advanced applications. Throughout my career, I have published over 150 peer-reviewed papers in high-impact journals and contributed to several book chapters published by Elsevier, Wiley, and Springer. My research has received more than 10,000 citations, with a current h-index of 51 (based on Google Scholar). I have successfully supervised multiple Ph.D. and master’s students, guiding their research in cutting-edge areas of nanotechnology. Beyond academia, I have actively collaborated with industry to develop practical applications of nanostructures, bridging the gap between research and real world implementation. I have presented my work at numerous international conferences and have contributed to the scientific community as an editor for several journals and a reviewer for numerous ISI-indexed journals. I am honored to share that, for the fifth consecutive year (2021-2025), I have been recognized among the world’s top 2% of scientists in the field of Applied Physics. This recognition is based on data verified and published by Elsevier and Stanford University’s Top 2% Scientists list (2021-2025). After working as a business manager for 14 years, in 2016, I switched to research and academics, focusing on Evidence-Based Practice Implementation Management, World Trade Management, and Renewable Energy Management As a reviewer and conference expert, I have completed more than 120 reviews for the following International Journals, and I am also a life member of the Great British Journal Press. Professor Salam J.J. Titinchi is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Chemistry at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa. He obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India, in 2004, following his M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees from the University of Basrah, Iraq. With over 30 years of academic and research experience, Professor Titinchi has held several key academic and administrative positions, including visiting professorships in the United States under the UMSAEP program at Missouri University of Science and Technology. His research expertise spans inorganic and organic chemistry, organometallics, and catalysis, and he has successfully supervised numerous postgraduate students—5 postdoctoral fellows, 18 Ph.D., 34 M.Sc., and 31 Honours candidates. He holds an NRF C2 rating (2014–2026) and has an H-index of 27 (Scopus) with over 1,800 citations, reflecting his significant contribution to the advancement of chemical sciences.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karahan is a faculty member at the Vocational School of Technical Sciences, Bursa Uludağ University, Türkiye. He is widely recognized for his expertise in technical textiles and composite materials, with a particular focus on thermoplastic composites, hybrid yarn technologies, and high-performance protective systems. He received his B.Sc. degree in Textile Engineering from Bursa Uludağ University in 1991, followed by his M.Sc. in 1994 and Ph.D. in 1999 in the same field. Starting his academic career as a research assistant in 1993, he became Assistant Professor in 2000, Associate Professor in 2009, and was promoted to Full Professor in 2014. Since 2018, Prof. Dr. Karahan has served as the Head of the Department at the Vocational School of Technical Sciences. He has also held various administrative and industry-related positions, including Board Member of BUTGEM (Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry Education Foundation), Board Member of ULUTEK Technopark, and R&D Coordinator in the private sector. Prof. Dr. Karahan has authored over 200 scientific publications, which have received more than 3,000 citations. He has led numerous national and international research projects and filed 9 patent applications. His research is particularly centered on developing innovative composite material structures and advanced manufacturing techniques through strong university-industry collaboration.

Nattakan Soykeabkaew received her D.Phil. from Queen Mary University of London, UK in 2007. She is currently an Associate Professor of Materials Science at Mae Fah Luang University's School of Science and the Director of the Center of Innovative Materials for Sustainability (iMatS). Her most recent research has focused on functional cellulose-based materials, nanocomposite coatings, advanced fiber-based packaging, and recycling of cellulosic wastes. So far, over 50 articles have been published on the following topics: “cellulose-based composites”, “nanocellulose modification”, “bionanocomposite coating”, and “high barrier molded pulp packaging”. She has over 2,500 citations, with a personal h-index of 20 (Google Scholar).
